Another descendent of the Perlin Noise function manifests in the Stone generator. By distorting one noise with another one, it produces textures like slate, sandstone or concrete.

The roughness of stone is increased in parallel to the Octaves and Persistence values. A higher Resolution value leads to smaller features of the stone, because the noise becomes finer.

The direction of distortion can be set to horizontal, vertical or to both directions.

Adjust the distortion strength with the Amplify value. While small values result in smooth stone, great values produce more sandstone-like textures.
