The Spots generator renders a pattern with multiple layers of distorted spots. You can use the function to create textures like cracked earth.

The Octaves value controls the number of layers. The lower layers render large spots, while the higher layers produce smaller ones. Use the Persistence parameter to regulate valence of the layers. Increase the Resolution value to reduce the overall size of the objects, which also results in a higher amount of spots.

The Amplify value controls the contrast of the spots. A negative value inverts the pattern.

By changing the Turbulence value, you can alter the shape of the spots. A low value leads to rounded shapes, a high value to chaotic patterns.
