Distraction/Scatter

 

 

Scattering is displacing the texture's pixels to random locations around them.

The amplitude of the scattering, i.e. how far the pixels are displaced, is controlled with the Amplify value. At a value of 100, the function scatters within a radius whose size is 10% of the texture's smaller side.

You can limit the scattering to horizontal and vertical displacement.
