Distraction/Noise
 
 

Distraction with the Noise function works by displacing the texture's columns and lines with a Perlin Noise map.

This Perlin Noise is influenced by the Octaves, Persistence and Resolution parameters. Decrease the Octaves value to get smoother, less detailed noise (compare Image 2 to Image 3).

You can let the function shift the texture horizontally, vertically or in both directions.

The amplitude of the displacement is regulated with the Amplify value.
