Distortion/Wave
 
 

The Wave distortion function shifts the texture's rows and columns along a horizontal and vertical sinus wave.

The shifting's wideness is regulated with the Amplify value. It is proportional to the texture's width and height.

Manipulate the frequency of the sinus waves with the Tiling values. Two steps equal one complete period.

Whether the shifting takes place horizontally or vertically can be controlled by the Dimensions settings.
