Basic/Sprite

Sprites are images, which are pasted (stretched or rotated) to another image. Use this function to add details to a texture (e.g. rivets to a metal texture) or to replicate parts from one to another texture.

Select at the Sprite panel what texture supplies the sprite. You can also configure the rotation angle and the transparency settings. The rotation angle has only effect, if you are using the Mask mode Sprite . This mode also maintains the source's aspect ratio. If you want to stretch the sprite without rotation, select the Rectangle mask mode.

Tip: Use the Basic/Crop function to extract parts from a texture.
