Sprites are
images, which are pasted (stretched or rotated) to another image. Use this
function to add details to a texture (e.g. rivets to a metal texture) or
to replicate parts from one to another texture.

Select at the
Sprite panel what texture
supplies the sprite. You can also configure the
rotation angle and the transparency settings. The rotation angle
has only effect, if you are using the
Mask mode Sprite
.
This mode
also maintains the source's aspect ratio. If you want to
stretch the sprite without rotation, select the Rectangle
mask
mode. |

Use the Basic/Crop function to
extract parts from a texture. |
