Texture Maker 3.1 RC1 released

Changes:

-Improved startup time to less than a second on modern systems.
-Lowered average memory and resource load.
-Improved compatibility.
-Fixed a bug with scripts running in an infinite loop.
-Fixed a bug with the clipboard viewer that crashed if an incompatible image was in the clipboard.
-Fixed some other minor bugs.

The RC1 runs until June 1th, 2007.

Changes: -Fixed a bug with the main menu occasionally popping up two menus at the same time -Fixed a bug with the Kaleidoscope not letting you select a pattern. -Removed the error message at the Resampler, when a texture from the last session was not available anymore.

I Sampler is much faster....

I stopped using I Sampler with the last beta because it seemed so slow. This morning I loaded up RC1 and it just sped through an ISample build....it's fantastic.
The dragons are simple cubic textures built with TextureMaker images (mainly I-Sampler or Texture Extraction from photos. Modelled and rendered in Animation Master.
Fantastic software Tobias...

Updated to build 10072.

Changes:

-Fixed a bug with 16-bit/32-bit images being saved incorrectly when choosing low color depths in the saving dialog.
-Fixed a bug with the mask selection bounding rectangles.
-Replaced the "missing maps" error message in the shader and other tools with a flash icon at the image thumbnails.
-Added small performance optimizations to the brush engine.

Just one thing, Tobias, could you make it clearer in the Check For Updates dialog that the current version being run is in fact out of date, right now it just tells you what the latest version is and with the last two releases the name has remained the same but the build number has increased.

Just looking for a "Your version is out of date." label and a build number lookup basically.
